Individual Therapy

Individuals seek counseling for numerous reasons; some are seeking added support while going through a difficult experience; some are looking for personal growth and to learn ways to gain fulfillment in their life; others are looking to resolve specific symptoms or problematic patterns that have been interfering with their life. Regardless of your reason, individual counseling can be a very effective way of achieving lasting results. During the therapy process, you will work collaboratively to explore your reasons for seeking therapy and personalized goals and agree upon a personalized treatment plan.
Kalley Seitz, BS, QMHP-T, Graduate Therapy Intern: $80 / 50-minute session and is out-of-network with insurance. Sliding scale and limited pro-bono spots are available upon request. Read more about the benefits of meeting with a Therapy Intern!
EMDR

EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is specifically designed to access parts of the brain that we are not able to access during traditional "talk" therapy. Your therapist will collaborate with you to develop personalized resourcing strategies to help day-to-day distress so that you may feel more empowered and in control of your symptoms. Your therapist will then guide you to discover the root of your concerns while using specific techniques to help you tolerate your distress in a safe and effective manner.
EMDR Intensives are available for clients who have specific memories that they would like to target to "desensitize" and want a deeper healing experience. Your therapist may incorporate other modalities, such as Parts Work, Somatic Experiencing, and Sandtray, to gently allow deeper access to wounded parts that may not be accessible in the conscious mind. Intensives are designed to be longer in duration (typically 2 - 3 hours) over a short period of time (typically less than 3 months).
Angela Green, MA, LPC, EMDR Certified Therapist: $170 / 50-minute session. Inquire about rates for EMDR Intensives
Relationship Therapy
Relationship therapy can be a transformative experience for couples and families alike. Whether you’re in a traditional or non-monogamous romantic relationship, or want support within a broader family relationship, this form of counseling offers a safe space to communicate openly and explore patterns within your interactions. It’s ideal for enhancing communication, deepening emotional connections, and resolving conflicts. Therapy can help you feel more fulfilled, improve intimacy among partners, and foster a sense of security and understanding. Your therapist will work to remain neutral, assisting each individual in exploring personal patterns that contribute to feelings of being stuck, withdrawn, or anxious.
Angela Green, MA, LPC: $180 / 50 minute session. Angela only provides therapy for couples at this time.
Kalley Seitz, BS, Graduate Therapy Intern: $100 / 50-minute session (sliding scale available)

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers a unique and powerful setting for healing and growth. In this process, clients come together under the guidance of a therapist to share experiences, challenges, and successes. This collective environment fosters a sense of connection and support, as participants realize they are not alone in their struggles.
Group therapy helps individuals feel understood and validated by others facing similar issues, which can significantly enhance the sense of community and mutual support. Additionally, it provides a platform for practicing new behaviors and receiving feedback in a safe space, accelerating personal growth and learning.

Services and Insurance Reimbursement
At Skyline Mental Health, we operate as an out-of-network provider, which means we don't have direct contracts with insurance companies. This approach allows us to offer personalized care tailored to your unique needs without the restrictions that insurance often implements on care. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that can help offset the cost of therapy.

At the end of each month, we'll provide you with a Superbill. You can submit this document to your insurance company to request reimbursement for the services rendered. The amount reimbursed depends on your specific insurance plan and its out-of-network coverage.

What is a Superbill?

A Superbill is a detailed invoice that includes all the necessary information your insurance company requires to process a claim for reimbursement. It typically includes:
-
Your personal information
-
Dates of service
-
Services provided
-
Diagnosis codes
-
Fees charged

How Does the Reimbursement Process Work?

After each session, we'll provide you with a Superbill. You can submit this document to your insurance company to request reimbursement for the services rendered. The amount reimbursed depends on your specific insurance plan and its out-of-network coverage.
Steps to Utilize Your Out-of-Network Benefits:
-
Verify Your Benefits: Contact your insurance provider to confirm your out-of-network mental health coverage, including details about deductibles, co-pays, and reimbursement rates.
-
Submit the Superbill: After each session, submit the Superbill to your insurance company. This can often be done through their online portal or by mailing the document.
-
Receive Reimbursement: Once processed, your insurance company will reimburse you directly, typically via check or direct deposit.
Important Considerations:

-
Deductibles and Co-pays: Be aware of any deductibles or co-pays associated with out-of-network services, as these will affect the amount you pay upfront and the reimbursement you receive.
-
Coverage Limits: Some insurance plans have limits on the number of therapy sessions covered per year. It's important to understand these limits to plan your treatment accordingly.
-
Pre-authorization: Some insurance companies may require pre-authorization for out-of-network services. Check with your insurer to determine if this is necessary.
By using your out-of-network benefits and submitting Superbills, you can make therapy more affordable and accessible. If you have any questions or need assistance with this process, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm here to support you every step of the way.

Note: Insurance policies vary widely. It's essential to verify your specific benefits and coverage details with your insurance provider.

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
